It's almost like the EU negotiate as a some sort of block and will rebuff attempts to undermine this...

Don't you see? It is clearly a conspiracy by Le mauvais Macron, the next step is to suggest that when we wash our hands we wash both of them:p

I wouldn't put it past Bozo to be making everything look as bad as he can so, on Sunday he can change position, agree a deal and declare a tremendous victory over the EU enemy, believing that we will all think he is wonderful. Given he has an ego the size of a planet...

If a deal happens. If. I think he'll leave everything to the last conceivable moment so the desire to pass a deal/avoid no deal, means no-one has time/mental capacity to subject the deal to any kind of scrutiny/examination.

    EDIT:

Nah, if he caves (which he would have to) in order to get a deal done this year the Tories would plunge the knives into him faster than the RX 6900 XT sold out.

It'll be No Deal, followed by years more of negotiation (just from a different starting point).

67 authorisations (reported in that one article) for a banned substance

    Indeed.
If'n you're going to ban something, then ban it properly.

Wow, I know they love their war flag waving defend the beaches stuff but that's pretty damn fast from leaving and ending FoM to gunboats. Think we need to devise on how to escape this island pretty soon if the war mongering tories decided to let off with a few salvos.

The pantomime is dragging Norway into it.

They go through an annual agreement for EU fishing rights to their waters AFAIK so this fiasco has thrown a spanner in the works what with it possibly, maybe, probably being a trilateral agreement now.

    Aye

We do import a good whack of fish from Iceland but we signed a continuity agreement some time ago.

The fishing thing is stupid anyway. The French mainly fish for fish that we don't even eat in the UK so it can't be difficult to sort out a compromise.

Oh hang on, it's bojo et al.
