Do you all recall a few months ago, when the American people voted out Trump, and we were no longer constantly bombarded with scandalous stories of sleaze and corruption or had to endure his constant inane waffling?
Certainly there are those who criticise Biden's policies; He and his party are far from perfect, but isn't it nice not to have to deal with that blonde entitled ****muppet anymore?
I don't know why that popped in to my head. Anyway, I hope you all have a great day tomorrow.

Look on the bright side of Trump:

He provided us with 4 years of practice to cope with the extra smugness of the Tories following their landslide victory tomorrow.

Bloody hell, I didn't even realise there were elections today. Didn't get a postal reminder or anything. Maybe I've been deemed inelligible to vote due to my rabid white supremacist views...wait, no, I live in Lincolnshire, that wouldn't bother them.

All I'm eligible to vote on today is the Police and Crime Commissioner, I'd just as soon vote for who empties my bins. Pointless election.

Just trying to summon the energy to walk to the library to vote for the P&CC for your count and mine, ElT.
Taking a lot of summoning, TBH.
That said, I feel I ought to vote, then I can complain about them having actually bothered to vote.

Only PCC to vote for in Somerset. Not missed a vote since I reached 18, a few weeks too late for the 1982 GE.

For the first time in the nearly 30 years that I have lived here, I didn't vote. Didn't even check if I still could. By end of next year I hope to already have left the country; I have no investment in it anymore.

To me, it's completely beyond reason that Hartlepool have voted in a Tory MP, for the first time since the constituency was created...

Come on down to Dorset where things make sense, my since the creation of my constituency it has only ever elected a Tory.

Odd really as I don't ever remember voting for them.

Unfortunately not all that surprising as it does match the trend that has been going on for a long time:

Young people move away from small Northern towns to the big cities where the jobs are, leaving the older home-owning population behind. So these small towns become more conservative, while the big cities become more left-leaning.

Remember when the UK Government threw Stormont under bus over Brexit?

Guess who the Tories are now talking to in regards to Brexit:

This isn't actually news. The DUP have been meeting with them all year. Go back far enough and the government\paramilitary meetings turn in to collusion in... *checks notes* murders

    News? Not necessarily.
But kind funny in an "oh look, the Tories trying to build a bridge over Brexshite again only to inevitably burn it down later" way.

Well this is going to be entertaining if nothing else...

Poots is as thick as a brick, and probably doesn't realise that his "great honour" is to have his political career sacrificed at the altar of Brexit.
