I am fully aware of the sarcasm in your post, and it's entirely appreciated, but I'd just like to highlight this personal pet peeve of mine: it generated nothing. What it did was siphon billions from you and I, and deposit said billions into shareholders' pockets. That's the reality.

As far as I'm concerned, it should not be legal to run something like water companies for a profit - or, if we insist they must be privatised for some reason, the maximum profit should be limited to something like rate-of-inflation-plus-ten-per-cent. Hell, I'd love an investment which got me ten per cent above inflation - my savings account gets me 0.6 per cent interest total!

Lucky you. All savings accounts here have negative interest.

Is that real? I have a really difficult time envisaging the enormity of the moment of clarity that group of cock holsters must have experienced in order print something so much at odds with their ideology.

One of the benefits of having your own well on the farm with free access and distribution, not being dependent on government for your water supply.

But, but, we have taken back control!

Unfortunately, control of our own downfall…

Man who creates a deal and then is employed to deal with his deal which he said was a bad deal resigns because he doesn't like wearing as mask.

    Still stuck in kindergarten

For how long have you been out of the EU?

I guess the Scots and the Welsh could secede from the Union and join the European Union instead. Smaller nation states in union with larger nation state(s) are basically along for the ride.

    Pros and cons.

When you look at the ONS data for the 24yrs, the UK balance of trade has actually improved on the whole since Brexit and is currently in a dip but that dip is no different to most of our past, so what has changed, not a great deal by the looks of it, peaks and troughs normally running a deficit, dips can be attributed to many things going on right now? So I guess everything depends on which stat you want to look at.

Check the countries that matter in the EU, like France and Germany, they have the same dip, if anything they have had a bigger impact to their numbers since we bailed.

Well Frost really left because of Brexit, but he can't say that.

I guess Truss is deemed more of a friendly face to the EU when we must rejoin the Single Market and Customs Union - The Good Friday Agreement is incompatible with Brexit until we do. It always was.

I mean it'll be rebadged as a partnership with the SM and synchronization with the CU or something something.

At least Truss going and getting trade deals has proved her point in 2016 to be correct.
