Three month schedule slip. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2015/10/30/ea-delays-mirrors-edge-catalyst/1
Good news. Nothing worse than releasing a game unfinished/broken to meet a deadline. I must say though I do like the early access method we see on steam.
Good news all round. A very sensible decision, given that Fallout 4 would absolutely obliterate it in sales. Also as said, the longer they spend getting it right the better. We don't need another Batman we need a GTAV.
Just in case? Boston United are more likely to win the Champion's League than DICE releasing a fully functioning stable game. There's no 'just in case' with those guys, merely BF3 broken and BF4 broken, with the former more desirable than the latter.
Good news for me. I still have a shedload of games to get through. I would like to play through the original one more time as well.
Sort of. This is going to be a prequel and a reboot of the storyline, so the first game isn't cannon, but the character is essentially the same.
Ah, that makes more sense then. Will be interesting to see what they do story-wise this time, then, given that the story was the weakest part of the first game.
