Disney holding back mobile and social.
Well the Star Wars franchise has been going down the pan for years, teaming up with EA seems suitably apt to me.
Oculus Rift compatible X-Wing please.
Well, that seals it, no more Star Wars games for me then
Battlefront 3 plx Mr EA sir!
Struggle to name the last good star wars game that was not knights of the old republic 1 or 2. EA can hardly do worse than lucas arts and there friends have managed in recent years.
"You must be connected to the Force at all times"
I don't care who makes it now, as long as a proper successor to XvT turns up.
I think this is chance for a EA to do what it always does - release the same game but with slightly better graphics. If they would do that with all the SW flight sims, not touch any of the story or gameplay, but just get Tie Fighter etc looking nice and working on Windows 7 they could be onto a winner.
Man I hope they set DICE to work on that, using Frostbite.
Hell yes! and finish off 1313 as well
Yeah, if Battlefront reappears I'll be happy.
Just going to wait and see, although I'm also someone who wouldn't mind seeing some game refreshes
Battlefront 3 would be awesome.
"Where the exclusion of 'online-category' games leaves BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO, however, is unknown - it's perfectly possible that the title will be allowed to wind down in favour of a reborn MMO under Disney's direction."
I highly doubt this would happen. SWTOR is now the 2nd largest Western MMO (in terms of subscription numbers), and is making a lot of money off the Cartel Market as well. This game is making them a lot of money, and I can't see them closing it down any time soon.
Grand Theft Auto: Tattoine?
Mofo's be usin' da foce n' sh*t! Poppin' caps in Jawas and runnin' from da stormtroopers.
-Be right back, Me an' my Wookie homie gotta bury Greedo.
Fine by me. Can we have KOTOR 3 please?
^ awaits pay to win model Star Wars games with dread...
Apparently, in the conference call today, EA said BioWare is already working on a new Star Wars game.
