Regardless of the crimes EA has commited against gaming over the years, you can't help but feel for those 900 ex-staff. No mention if all of those are UK employees though?

True. That is a large piece of the work force, to take the scythe to.

    +1

"needs fewer staff in its current-generation and PC studios."
Well yes, it doesn't take a lot of people to change a few things in thier rehash titles. :sigh:

hopefully those out of a job can find another soon enough. Maybe they should come together and form thier own company. A fresh name is always good, and it has been done before.

While it's always hard to about job cuts, I hope those who have lost their job are were the ones who made some of the terrible games, plus bugs in them and EA have got rid of some bad wood. It also the people who make a company not just the people at the top.
I would say as well EA have made some good games and am sorry for any good staff who made these games who have been given the boot. Good luck in finding jobs.

PC studios? So that means the feces will never be cleaned off SimCity streets.
