Anyone got a pair? Ive read reviews that some brands cut into peoples ears and obviously i dont want that. My current "normal" pair always fall out when im walking so im after a decent pair of ear clippy ones. Recommendations?
I've got a top of the line RCA set (they are called "Backphones" btw). I love emm (very very good bass response, extremely clear, crisp sound), and even after my vaccume cleaner ate the cord (actualy broke it right where it connects to one of the ear pieces ) I just resoldered the cord, tucked it back in, and they still work like new! I've had them out in horrid snow storms, rain, sleet, hail, everything imaginable, and they still not only look new, but work like new. I highly recomend RCA backphones As for the "cutting", only if you wear them for 3+ hours straight and allways leave them in the same place (if you move them arround a little they'll never cut into you). Look for one's that have a good ergonomic shape to them (the bit that goes arround the front of your ear).
What make? I need 3.5mm phono not RCA mind. They are for my PDA playing 500kbps oggs and 192k mp3s, so quality doesnt matter too much, im not an audiophile. "Backphones" in google just brings up "phones" as in mobile/cell variety or ones with the thing that goes round the back of your head. Im after singular pieces of each ear, with a small speaker not large.
Get those wubbly Sony MDR-EX71SL earphones that go right in your ear canal, they won't fall out of anyone's ears I got a pair for Chrimbo based on the praise from bit-tech and they're totally gorgeous audio-wise. Only thing I can say wrong about them is that they stay in even when I fall asleep, causing possible strangulation
I can second that. I got a pair for christmas and use them on my zen nx. They sound great, and are very comfortable.
I have a pair of the sony ones, can't remember the name but they are the older version of these comfortable, but take a while to get used to. Again have some MDR-EX71SL and prefer these, the sound is comparable to the ones above too.
I got my mum a pair of those with her new CD player, as she hates having things in her ears, the clip is actually spring-loaded so that it won't cut your ear up no matter what shape your ears are. Not the best sound quality, but very good ease of use.
