Not to sure about UFOs, but here's what I see happening...

Some one flies over in military air craft spots 4 guns and a lazer all pointing skywards, a quick shout down the radio and some one says "we don't know what it is either, shoot the sh*t out of it"...see where I'm going with this, it could all end up getting very messy...

Other than that, it looks excellent, maybe to life like though....lol

Top modding dude..... Can you build me one, I want to see the look on the neighbors faces when I swing it round towards them

Think you need to bend the heatsink over so you can use the pci-x slot , this is awesome though & look forward to seeing the end result, I'm unsure what to expect but you always make excellent end results nice sponsors .

 

Air cooled? Most lasers over 60 watts need to be liquid cooled. If you plan on swatting any hardware out of the sky...
I fear I've said too much already.

 

What kind of covering if any are you going to place over the computer components?

 

My best guess would be "A concrete bunker", but I could be wrong.

As someone's said, just be careful where and when you shine the laser into the sky as it blinds civilian pilots. Other than that, can't wait for this to be completed (and perhaps drafted into the Koninklijke Landmacht as an anti aircraft weapon ), you certainly have my MOTM vote
