Fresh encounter today. Sold a item for collection. Askes what time. I say any time is fine I am free all day. He gives me a hour window. I then find out I have a plumber coming round. Send him a mail saying that time is fine as long as it is between that time as I need to be somewhere else for said plumber. He comes half a hour earlier and starts kicking off at my birds mother who was dropping stuff off. Urghhh.
Just you wait.... I sold some RAM almost a month ago and it came back with dented heatspreaders and failing MemTest. I was forced to refund - the buyer said that I had sold them like that despite DATED pictures showing serials of items intact. He's now moaning about the (full) refund...
Oh, don't get me wrong, I've had some interesting experiences. I bought a model for a friends birthday, it's out of production (Unless you're staff it seems..), and it crops up on eBay for around 40-45 despite originally selling at 12. This one was 25 - I knew it'd be some how a bodge, but it's definitely a recast. I've seen enough resin to know Forgeworlds apart from other peoples, and this is more like my resin with pigment powder in it. Close, but not close enough. Asked the seller, who of course denied it. I wasn't going to give him negative feedback, the cast he did was better than the bloody original I have!
