Why? Every company has you wait a certain amount of days before sending out a replacement, in case it turns up out of the blue.

That is the longest sentence i have ever read lol. :D

On topic: I've been stung by City Link more than a few times. I even made a thread about it over Christmas. Ebuyer was the shipper every time. Why do they use them when they keep getting complaints?

I suppose its all about cost mate, a big order that weighs a lot will obviously go to the company that offers the cheapest rate so that ebuyer can make the biggest profit. Again its a shame ebuyer let these idiots ruin their reputation.

If Ebuyer upped delivery charges and used a reliable courier, i'd definitely keep using them!
Letting your customers down by using a dodgy courier is a good way to lose customers.
My christmas parts took 2 weeks to arrive....on a next day delivery...

Yeah I said that to my girlfriend yesterday, people don't normally mind paying for reliability and decent service.

Well, in all honesty, Royal Mail are **** too.... when I moved into my new flat, it took them 4 weeks to get my post to me because they "couldn't get into the building" they just stopped the service to about 52 apartments for no reason and they had been coming here before I moved in!

It must just be me and my bad luck with the post hahah!

All Saturday services are sketchy, over 2/3 rds of all complaints are about these alone.

Regardless of Shitty-Links well earnt dubious "rep".

I have had nothing but trouble from City link. UPS and DPD have always been pretty good. UPS especially.

If you want to talk about bad delivery services. Any experiance of MyHermes?

    Laughable for me.

1st package sent to me went missing.

2nd package sent to me was driven over by a car.
They said they would send it back, gave me a delivery number on a MyHermes card.
Phoned up the office and they advised it wasn't sent by them, they said it was sent by TNT even though I had a MyHermes pre-printed tracking card.
Called TNT and they had no idea what they were talking about, as the ref wasn't in their style :/

    3rd package went missing.

In the end the Amazon Marketplace company lost 3 surge protectors due to crappy delivery and I had to get a refund.
