Ebuyer seem to have expanded into the money making world of selling cd's and dvd's online, as well as BOOKS! They have been known to sell swimming pools in the past!

So Amazon has gone into the hardware market and Ebuyer are going into the books and cd/dvd market. Hmm..

    Ebuyer's new site here.

Yes, but Amazon will sell you a butt plug these days ;) I'll have Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, a butt plug, a blow up doll and 1/2GB of memory please.. What a wonderfully screwed up little world we live in :)

There is a huge profit outta this though, you've gotta remember, even give or take a few quid, most people will buy all their stuff from one place.

Thats why supermarkets benefit so much from it (though even they take it for granted)

Definitely - it's a wise move, as it'll appeal to all their existing user base, many of whom are people building themselves systems for gaming. It's more convenient to pick up a copy of BF2 with your new PC parts for immediate enjoyment than have it arrive at a different time from somewhere else.

Let's just hope it doesn't make the website any slower...

So it's not just me who thinks EBuyer's website is unbelievably slow?

Ebuyer loads perfectly quickly for me, no problems. I would think that the new site is on another server anyway as it was owned by another company previously.
