Hi guys, I'm about to build a new rig, and was hoping for some advice

I am going to be using an 8800GTS, and will not be overclocking the rig

The 8800 GTS requires ones PC to have a minimum 400W at 12V|26A

The powersupply i wish to use is 500Watts, +12V1|16A and +12V2|17A

it has 2 gigs of ram and only one 8800GTS and again will NOT be overclocked

    will this powersupply work?

    thank you :)

it looks like the brand is NZXT. It comes with the case, and the combo is pretty expensive so I expect somewhat of a sturdy powersupply

and wow thank you for your speedy reply! :)

NZXT stuff is cheap. It might hold up (i wouldnt bet) but if you have some extra cash to spare go for Corsair 520W - very good psu and good price.
