    conrad.com offers EL-String at £6.8 per meter (=3.2 feet)
    The Power-Supply costs £10.9

I didn't find it at the UK-Site, but guess they have it as well. just ask for:

    L.e.o.n. Line (=EL-String)
    Number         color
    599417-62 yellow
    599433-62 red
    595403-62 orange
    595411-62 green
    595420-62 blue
    595438-62 pink

    Microliner (=Powersupply) #599468-62

Is it me, or is their site a pain to use?

I also can't find any of the products you've listed. I can find 'Black light string' which has very similar product numbers to yours but ends in 92. I get the feeling this isn't the same stuff though.

If you could gently prod me in the direction of the proper stuff, it'd be appreciated :)

conrad electronics is a pain because it's an english site run by germans for english written in english by germans and the currency is all in euros...

and that's not that cheap for neon string really...

I actually found it on the austrian Site of Conrad, but since they ship from a central deposit it should be available in the UK as well. you can find it by visiting www.conrad.at and searching for "leuchtschnur" - just drop them a line or something that you found it in the austrian store and if the product is available in the UK too.

@pveale: well - you get almost 3 feet more EL-String for £2 less than at CCM

...and pveale: you're definitely right - the english site IS a pain in the ass! I wonder how serious people like conrad can run such a f00ked up site :)
