Modding el wire voltage

    i have some el wire that my dad got me but its hooked up to a battery pack and i want to change that so it will hook up to a 4 pin molex
    do i wire it like 5v to ground? seen here click
    or is thier more to it?

    How many batteries are in the pack? and what type?

    Most EL wire should run off 12 volts..
