If you guys didnt know there are general elections in Germany today. It seems like a party change, and I doubt that this is good as Angela Merkel (opp.) is just not the person to be Chancellor of Germany. The international relations with the UK and the US would change dramatically. Did anyone follow the election campaigns?
I assume you are German? Looks like Angela Merkel is the new Chanselor though whether she can form a government is to be seen. Germany has its issues with large unemployment (11% compared to the UKs 4.7%) and problems with its manufacturing industries as well as a unsustainable welfare state (not helped by the unemployment). TBPH I do not mind too much what happens with the relations with the UK and US as long as the winner and their government can sort their country out first. Its what I would say to any country US and the UK included.
Angela Merkel really is not the right person for chanslor! She is way to conservativ and arrogant! She always talks like the 5 million unemployed where the social democrats fault, infact many many trys to solve that problem and to make germany more social and fair were blocked by the christian democrats! The gap between rich and poor will get bigger and bigger under her leadership...20% "Meherwertsteuer" (Tax) i mean HELLO how are poor people supposed to afford anything? Germanys problem is that people dont buy enough and the money that is supposed to be gathered by taxes is missing...but with 20% tax people will buy even less and making it all worse...
Angela Merkel reminds me of Margaret Thatcher, I really hope you guys don't end up with someone like Thatcher for any ammount of time, she really screwed this country up.
