Anyone else see this mini? Sounds like a really interesting idea. I had thought that the basic set up had been tried before, but I guess they had some new twists to add. http://www.pmlflightlink.com/archive/news_mini.html
Sounds interesting, but I won't believe it until I see a video. 4.5s to 62mph is seriously quick, but the stuff about 0-carbon footprint is quite attractive too.
I read something about a new electric sports car a few months ago aswell. A bit like a Lotus Elise, but electric.. very fast aswell. Seems like a very cool idea.. but I think the drive experience won't be the same without the sound of the engine roaring behind you.
Interesting because it's utter bs? It's an electric car and electricity is made in power stations. Most power in the UK is generated by burning coal and gas. Also looks like they chose the wrong car to put electric motors on each wheel. The car is no longer road legal.
Well if you take it with a pinch of salt, it's interesting because, as they say, you can regain quite a lot through regenerative braking, it'd be interesting to see how much. I know it's bollocks from the side that you have to recharge it, that's fairly obvious. Why's it not road legal anymore too?
Ah right, fair enough. Didn't know that was a rule. Is that why quad-bikes used to have protruding, flared wheel arches? So they could pass as road-legal? (I know they're not anymore, but they used to be.)
