Don't know why but I didn't catch your mod on the forum and that was a big mistake! I really like the shape you give to the case and you have well manage the mesh, congrat! Keep going!

Those peekers are just looking amazing:jawdrop:

p.s. I wasn't saying I disliked the fan cable showing, just that I myself love the steathly art of hiding as many cables as possible. :thumb:

pps- one more vote btw for you in the MOTM

    Cheers mate! :)

I usually am an advocate for hiding as many cables as possible, but I figured that since every other cable is proudly on display that I would also have the fan cable showing proudly too :)

And thank you for the vote! This is actually my first time nominated for MOTM :D Your support is greatly appreciated!

Nice build,I would prefer internal mount windows tho.

Let me know if you want colour on that.

I also love this build but my first thought about it was also if acrylic Windows should have been mounted on inside...but it looks very nice even on the outside.

Nah, Putting them on the inside would give you less curve. It would have been a PITA to bend to the inside edge too. -And he put that lovely bevel on the edges.

mmmh, I vote for the acrylic moved to the inside too. You have put a lot of nice curves and, for me, putting the acrylic outside gives more "staircase" and so breaks those curves. Anyway, it's still a really nice build and maybe the final pics will change my mind!

    Update 7
    The Grand Finalé

    Hello friends!

Today, I update this build log for the last time with the final photos for my Raijintek Metis modding project - Elegance.

I would like to give a massive thank you to all of the vendors who have supported this project with their products, but most of all I would like to thank you (Yes you reading this!!) for being here, taking interest and giving feedback during this entire process. Without your help and support, I would not be able to do what I love to do - To create PC art!

So without further blabber and fluff, it is with great joy that I present to you the final images of my latest completed project - Elegance by MetallicAcid.

I'm not the only one then. :) It bugged my OCD for a bit, but it's there for aesthetic reasons I guess. It still nags the "hide the cables" part of my brain too.

Awesome work Justin!! Love it!! :jawdrop: Except for the fact that it's air cooled. :D Looking forward to the next one, hopefully underwater. :D

Thank you for the continued support Bart, always nice to know that you are there to read and give feedback. I had tried to break the mold with this project, with all cables proudly on display, wrapping window and air cooled.

Seemed like a nice change from all of the watercooled monster rigs in Hexgear/Parvum/Corsair cases these days. Back to basics, hand crafted and elegant ;)

See you at the next project!
