Multi Elite - Dangerous by David Braben

A little while ago, someone asked Braben during a Q&A session if Frontier was planning to introduce strange alien artefacts and constructs into the galaxy for players to discover. He replied that they already existed --they had been there for a while. Players just hadn't found them yet (space is big and all that)...

Yes! Weirdness! Weird stuff going on! This is exciting!

 

I stopped with the CG at Quivira and went to the Zaonce one, didn't manage to get much done on it yesterday as I was in Blackpool all day and then thought I would do some more today only to find it had finished, and I had dropped from the top 15% to top 40% but still 5 million credits put's a little closer to the 200 million credits I want for a Anaconda.

Back to the Quivira CG now and I have put in around 700,000 credits in combat bonds and now that they seemed, to have fixed the combat bonds I will spend some time tomorrow farming some more but it is a pretty poor CG at this rate, as we will be lucky to get past Tier 1 let alone close to the Tier 8 I think the top one is.

 

Today I hit 70'000 LY total distance travelled.

Had a blast on Elite for the first time in a month with GMC last night, top bloke, had fun making some cash on rare runs, some combat and some testing of clipper vs asp all while chit chatting.

Elite is a very comfortable game to get back into, and frankly, who doesn't like internet space ships?

 

Was a good crack. Reminded me how much I like the asp. May have to go and get her out of storage for a short trip into the black

Jumped into Arth right in the middle of a flaming civil war, high intensity conflict zone right next door to Midgeley Dock and CMDRs interdicting left right and centre. Getting back to the station after all that was serious squeaky bum time, but only had to dodge interdiction once.
