I've had an EluminX Keyboard for about 6months now and recently the EL-sheet stopped "illuminating" and the keyboard began emitting a horrible screeching noise. I took the keyboard apart and unplugged the EL sheet from, what I assume is its, power source. Any of you electronic experts have any advice?
methinks the inverter is shot. a lot of early generation EL inverters do that. You have four options here: either replace the inverter, pad it with noise sucking foam, try to return it, or buy another, change inverters and return the new one with your shat inverter.
