I'm thinking of buying an eMac, but I dont know how well they run with Tiger.

Anyone here have an emac and running tiger?

Shouldn't be a problem - the latest eMac sports the same speed processor as the Mac Mini, and that runs Tiger fine.

even if you're buying a second hand machine with a slower processor, I doubt it'd be an issue. IIRC, all eMacs had G4 processors.

Tiger actually runs better on all macs than panther and previous versions. Apple seem to be the only company that think updates to OSs should actually improve the product instead of bloating it. Even a 400mhz cube runs better with tiger than when running panther.

    Sweet :D

I'm getting a huge payment of £2k soon, so I might just get an eMac and get rid of my pc (finally!).
