MS aren't exactly pushing this...last update October 2001 The acid test will be how long it takes to download and set up the font object file before you can view the page.
they had this test page.... http://www.microsoft.com/typography/web/embedding/demos/5/demo5.htm?fname= &fsize= looks pretty quick....probably be alot slower if u had like 50 different fonts....
maybe it's never updated because the technology works so well. ok... maybe not . how could you possibly use 50 fonts on a page? i think that was a very quick download, almost fast enough to no notice that it wasn't a regular page load. the story may be different over dial-up, though.
