I have seen lots here slagging enermax PSU, mainly about the 5v line.

Does any one know what the tollerances are with the voltages or must it be exactly 5v's.

My Enermax is still under warenty so I want to check that it is ok.

I think that the website says 5% on both the 5 and 12v lines. However this will probably be the unloaded values. Not sure what you should expect under load.

Most people only seem to have trouble when they use very high voltages 2.0+ or when they are used in conjuncture with Epox boards.

There is a mod that you can do so you can adjust the 5v line but it does involve some soldering inside a switched mode power supply which is not for beginners.

My Enermax 5V line is at about 4.87V Full load, with the Vcore @ 1.85V and the IO Voltage at 3.5V...

Does this seem fine for a 5V line with me OCd upto 1.50Ghz?

:D lo m8 i had the Enermax 431 power supply and had a bad 5 volt line so sent it back after a few lads on here told me about the 5 volt problem.

I Also have the EPOx 8kha+ mobo, not a good combo,so i bought the sparkle 400watt power supply, this lets you up the 5 volt line, now my 5 volt line is 5.16+or-,so my system is now ready for overclocking hehehhehehehehehheehhehehehehehehehe

I've got a 350w enermax, and the +5v line hovers between 5.04 and 5.06v with all five case fans plus my thermoengine running.

If I turn em all off except for the thermoengine, it goes up to about 5.08v and when I press the force on my digidoc it drops to 5.03, alarms for a little then settles back to 5.04>5.06

The thing is, the 12v line seems waaaaaay over-volted at 12.62v!

Stuff hanging off the PSU is my mobo, dvd rom, cdrw, zip, hdd, fdd, audigydrive and digidoc so it is under a fair bit of load!
