Just having a think about eMule as i have no muved back to it YET again after ares networkproblems and the like...
And i remembered that emule has that nifty web interface so i can leave it on a server and not need to remote onto the server with terminal services all the time. This got me thinking..... Althoguh it would requite multiple instances of the program to run, i was wondering how tricky people thought it would be to replace the single instance eMule and make it multi user allowing access to all of the different download systesm through usernames and passwords through the web interface with each instance of the program locked to a particular finish download directory...
I know i could use a script i guess and then set it to run X number of emule programs using "run as" for each user on the network, but im not sure if you can set a %username% in the directory path, then it would mean they all clash with port numbers and generally not get on...
Just on the off chance there is a total eMule boffin about really!!!

as far as emule, isnt the web based client built into the program? if so youd need to edit the program, methinks
