I have sleeves the my PSU cables, but instead of using the standard stuff, I found some braided tubing used for shielding. It goes quite well with my chrome PSU, but I need to coat it with somthing that will prevent anything from being shorted by the cables. I tried an experiment with some Krylon clearcoad, but it was a failure. Any other ideas?
I think i saw some clear heat shrink cable tubing somehwhere, can't rememebr where though but that would work perfectly, i'll have a look for you
Farnell do some stuff thats good for that as its thin and very clear (but as Farnell nae cheap)- rapid do standard HS clear cheaper but slightly opaque?
Yeha i'ev used the rapid stuff before, it is slightly smoked especially after heat shrinking, you would still be able to see the wires throught it though i think.
try tofind some of that shieldes heatshrinktubing... the one with that "metal web" inside... that would be cool.. mabye a bit expensive though...
