Cool! Looks awesome! Hope the camera is not too close into the action though, after playing supcom, I feel like playing other strategy games is like looking at the world through a toilet roll.
this had already been announced by them...
they're hoping to tap into the SC2 fans that don't want to pay for... well... SC2
well SC2 is free to play now in a limited way
Will have to check this out. A friend said it was good.
All they need to do is make Rift free-to-play.
I thought the latest SupCom was waaaaay too easy. It was basically a point and click steamroller game, no real challenge. I echo the claustrophobic feeling of the camera in proper RTS's like SC2 but it adds a difficulty level to the game that is required when you have people playing at such a high proficiency.
Lots of attention towards the RTS genre recently, couldn't be happier. While SC2 will probably remain a top standard, especially with an expansion (with multiplayer changes in addition to a whole single player campaign) coming up soon, less room in the pool means heavier competition, may the best game win*.
*as long as it's not Valve's DOTA >_>
