England were pants... I can't believe how they played in the first half. I thought they were footballers not an artillery battery. They were shooting the ball up front like mortar fire, with nobody there to pick it up. As for the second half...don't get me started. We had a defense, a front 4 but what about the midfield???? I feel cheated, the team were disorganised, inconsistent and played like there was nothing to win. Bah, the Swedes must of thought all their xmases came at once!!! Hey dougie...from a spoiler point of view the 1-1 in the title kind of gives away the score!!!!
The first half wasnt TOO bad. But the second half ? And they call that football ? I don't think so :cries:
I am not a great footy fan and didn't watch the match but all i can say is if thats all they got against sweden .... what are they gonna be like against teams like germany and brazil ...(dunno if they are still supposed to be good?)
Yeah, it's alright for some, saudi looked like a f0ckin' village team yesterday, they were unbelievably poor. All credit to Germany for taking advantage of them though, it just wasn't a football match, it was target practice...... I just wonder how many Ireland can stuff past them As for England.... gawd.... they'd better bloody well not be planning to play with the same attitude on Friday, otherwise they may as well come home now I just hope we can get a result against the argentines, everybody knows that if England play to their best, they can compete with anybody (*cough* Munich *cough* )
all I can say is the game should have been sealed by the half hour... no question about that! I am pretty disappointed with the display they showed
