Full refunds for everyone? Epic, you've impressed me and I respect you a little more today. Even if you did type the sentence "We didn't execute well enough to deliver on the promise of Paragon." instead of something more closely resembling english.
(I would fold the sentiment into the next sentence and combine the two. "We failed you, and we failed Paragon." But that's just me.)
That's an excellent move by Epic, but it does underline how little money Paragon must have made if the accountant looked up the possibility of giving everyone a refund and went 'yeah, we can afford that,'
Or they must be making truly cartoonish amounts from Fortnite, which I could well believe since it's player numbers are close to PUBG's.
And pretty much every match you spot well over £100 "worth" of cosmetic items on players.
I had some fun playing Paragon... However all of the focus was on introducing characters that, ultimately, were too same-y.
...meanwhile there was only ever one map.
Ultimately it was yet another MOBA in a sea of MOBAs.
I think ArenaNet were also making a MOBA and quit because there wasn't much adhesion during beta testing.
League and Dota have that market sewn up in truth.
But Paragon was a little bit different, in that it was a 3rd person perspective MOBA, and it was the only one like that that I've played. Shame really, I hope they can find a place for it other than the bin!
