    Its a quick CNC k6100a.

    1001
    1002

Here that, 1000, thats like, a really big number :p

I will be posting an update within the week and have changed the water colour to pink (you know...to get in touch with my inner man?). I've been busy with uni work, work work and I have also fallen into the signage business by accident -_-

I'm now a contractor for various signage companies, more on that later.

I've also been busy doing "other" things :p

I also made my own light box so expect some sweet ass photos of any side components I make :p

I'm pretty sure that's called a light tent. Lightboxes are what artists use to illuminate their drawings from underneath.

Yours is pretty awesome though. I'm going to have to build one for myself this summer.

I'll tell you that I personally found it worth it to just go ahead and buy a collapsible light tent from Ebay and be done with it. I build my own, but found it to be a pain as it doesn't set up and tear down easily. The collapsible light tent is so much easier to use.

Nice light tent. Did you follow a tute or come up with the design yourself?

This is truly an epic project.
Lot's of good stuff, and a couple of ideas that I might steal borrow if you don't mind.
Also, I'd love to have my own CNC, but their cost is quite prohibitive over here.

    Keep up the good work.

I looked at others and came up with my own using white acrylic and poster board. 2 of the 35 watt light bulbs and shazam! light tent!

Oh balls, my maximus SE kicked the bucket and my CNC arrived in port today. I cant remember another incident of monumental bad timing. It took me a while to figure out it was actually the motherboard that was at fault. I spent most of this afternoon swapping in spare ram and my gf's graphics card but I only realised afterwards that the USB ports werent working and there were no lights on the ethernet switch.

So, the watercooling is going, cable management will be non existant for the moment but yes, the case will be emptied, gutted and repolished. I will post photos of the completed case in a few days and I am buying the new i5 parts to go in tomorrow.

Really sucks to hear about the motherboard dying mate. On the upside you did get your new CNC :D and now everyone can see the finished case :D.

Yeah the CNC is in customs awaiting clearance, could take a while.

I took everything out and polished it down.

Going down to Umart to get the i5 parts and then doing a quick install to get me back on my feet! Then all I have to do is the power button, put the grills in and CDR bays and then some finishing up photos.

    Haha thanks mate :p

    Got all the stuff today!

I didnt realise how in the past I was living. No 775 sockets were available at my local and my DDR2 was well, ancient.

New RAM, new CPU, new Motherboard. It all works, im back on bit tech on the bench. Im still waiting for the case to dry out and then ill refit it all.
