@DarkLord7854 - That's a thought. I have breifly considered something like that. Still not sure.

@widmod - Sorry, been on vacation. Going out of town this weekend, too. Then got two system upgrades to do out of town, so I'll be busy for a while. Might be some time before I get back on this. But I will.

Been ordering some more electrical stuff for the light controlling system. That's about it.

Yeah. I'm hoping to get back to it this weekend, that is after I pull an engine off a pontoon boat and get it to the shop.

Thanks. Actually the prodding is a good thing. Let's me know people are interested. And I'm bad about starting things and not finishing them, so thanks to DarkLord7854 especially for keeping me focused.

I've done a little more programming work on the Basic Stamp controllers. As I said, hopefully this weekend I can start back on the wiring. 30+ LEDs on the top and unknown number on the bottom.

@Tjedi AI - Yep, that's what got me to do it. Maccano seems to have a cleaner look and is maybe heavier. But I grew up with Erector, so that's what I used.

@Computerking - Sorry, heading out of town for AS/400 OS upgrade. Then out of town for the weekend. It could be a while, yet.

Well, no progress on the WaterPlant, but by the end of the week I should get the elcheapo P4 refurb I bought from TigerDirect to use while I put the WC parts in the main machine. Maybe this weekend I'll get the entire rig up and running (but still without the wiring done for the lights).

Guess again. The PC I got was DOA so I have to send it back for a replacement. That means I won't be tearing my old PC down this weekend. If it wasn't for the need to RDP into work, I could just get by with the Linux box. Next week I'm in Cincinnati for an AS/400 OS upgrade and LAN console install, that weekend on the boat. In town during the week after and then vacation for a week.

So, probably no work on the WaterPlant for a few more weeks. :grr:

    I hate computers.
