Windows ETQW: All I do is Spin

So, borrowed Enemy Territories: Quake Wars today, installed it, changed the resalution, loaded up a game, and all I do is spin around.

I've tried two mice, same happens with both. Any way of sorting this out?

 

Have you checked all your peripherals dude? I've had issues with a few USB inputs from Printers to control pads causing spinning

 

So pull out everything bar the mouse and keyboard?

 

It's a good way to eliminate some of the possible causes before looking deeper into it
