Ladies and gentlemen, Tonight the greatest show on earth begins, one formed of the, ahem, greatest acts non-bankrupt Europe has to offer. Our own entry is Bonnie Tyler, with bets of 50/1 to win, with Denmark being the front runners. There is also going to be a giant. And it's in Sweden. Who else is excited?
Bonnie Tyler? Good god man I never thought we have someone reputable represent us. All she needs to do is hero and we've won. Its still a massive political circle jerk though.
Who needs to care? That's the fun of it! With lyrics like "I don't think there are no ladies / who will give you cuter babies", it's the greatest show on earth.
I sometimes watch it for the funny commentary, Eurovision is a bit of a joke here but more serious in other countries.
we did used to play the Terry Wogan eurovision drinking contest. got royally wasted about a 3rd of the way through. not quite exactly to the rules we played but close enough.
And as per the last few years, Ireland's entry is terrible. I'm amazed we got through to the final. Still better then Jedward though.....

Eurovision should be renamed political music show as that's all its about. Uk will never win simple as that.
