I really hope they don't get rid of it, I love 6Music to bits. The Adam and Joe show on Saturday mornings is/was epic too.
I've been looking for something to replace Planet Rock while they insist on running the WBAC advert. I'll give 6 a shot.
It's curious that I first read of this on the BBC's own website I tend to flick between Absolute & Radio 6 - with the odd sortie to the local radio station for traffic - so I'd be disappointed if it went.
As a detester of commercial stations with their whoreish adverts I'd quite like to keep 6Music. Good for the car if you get a DAB as well. There's so many different kinds of music on there it boggles the mind too. Huey's show is pretty much the highlight of my week.
It's the only station I ever go out of my way to listen to. Especially Adam and Joe, as Krikkit has already mentioned. STEPHEN?
This! There was talk of Absolute Radio buying the 6 Music format (DJs and all) which would be awesome! Hell, as long as someone (hopefully Abosolute) give Adam & Joe a job then it won't be the end of the world...

I used to find him mildly amusing, but not anymore. I used to only really listen to joe whileys weekday show really, seeing as i think fern cotton needs to be shot aswell i now just listen to my ipod or cds. Ill admit ive never listened to BBC6 but ive got it on now and im liking it
I quite like most of the Radio 1 DJ's, although Fern Cotton does get on my tits a bit sometimes. You can't deny that she's hawt though.
