I've had a couple of EVGA cards (450 and 460) and both were exceptionally quiet and reasonable overclockable. This one uses the same cooler too so should be good.

There is nothing wrong with this card at all. Many will post saying "why not spend £10 - £15 more and get the twin frozr or blah blah blah" but If it's the best deal then go for it.

 

thanks mate seems like a decent deal to be fair, copy of crysis 2, extra goodies, code for new batman and code for new flashpoint game so not bad at all.

Yes mate i ordered one the other day. have not recieved it yet (went for the slow free delivery from dabs... well im still in afghan so no rush). I was really happy with the price and looks like its a good time to buy on dabs, with all the game download code deals in sept. The same card is over £200 on scan.

Any idea which PCB or cooler is used?

they mention here that most EVGA cards have different power phase designs etc which help with overclocks. I presume as these overclocks are pretty high for a pre-clocked 560TI they would be using their own design?

(it could be that they stick to the reference design and other manufacturers cut corners to make it cheaper)

 

I believe its the reference cooler mate but with a Crysis design on it, no idea on the PCB.

 

Been researching and it looks like the Middle one of the 3 near the bottom of the page I linked, so yeah reference design, which is no bad thing.

Should be no problem to find a matching card to SLI with in the future, was a bit concerned they might be a limited edition.

Ordered one myself yesterday, can't wait till November!!!

 

hell of a deal...but aren't all the nvidia cards getting the free game treatment right now?

and that makes me wonder, is the new 7xxx series from amd about to drop?

 

not bad 900 stock.. they all pretty much do that from what I've read- evga has a good warranty though

I won't buy anything from them because it's a personal grudge.. but they do have the best service

I'd get the gigabyte card myself.. it's cheaper and I like the cooler =]
