    The more I hear about whats comming with Ivy Bridge the more i like.

    The man has a very good point.. ASUS are halfway there with their P67 and Z68 board by having them right on the edge, now then just need to bend the pins a little...

    Though the 24-pin being inverted is definately a bit of a groundbreaker, I would prefer the pins being insulated in some way.

    I say we need to upgrade the 24 pin into something a bit more like say a sata power cable style, flat and easy to hide would be nice, same with the 4/8 pin having it lay flat with the board as well.

    This isn't Ivy Bridge - Ivy Bridge replaces Sandy Bridge.

    This replaces LGA1366.

    I think if wew were designing the ultimate board all the connectors would be at right angles and set along one edge of the board for perfect cable management. Imagine just how neat and tidy that would be.
