    Well time for a Micro update to coast us through the next week until the real updates can start again :)

    I'm planning on butchering my dvd drive to relocate the open/close switch and do some other fancy stuff with it. Being prudent I grabbed an old dvd rom to fiddle about with first. After removing the bezel I made the necessary cuts from the front panel and sanded them down to 600 grit. As you can see in the last picture I'm still a little bit off in the top left corner so that will be fixed when the fan controller arrives and I take it all apart again :)
