Good luck, Mankz! I was only joking that time I said you were the antichrist. We believe in you! (Though the fact that you're on BiT the same day as an exam speaks volumes of your priorities ) I've got all my first-year exams at the beginning of June: EPR, Philosophy and Criminology (ugh). Looking forward to being done.
All these tests at the same time! I'm worrying for the brewery people in the UK. Overtime will be needed. Luck to all. john
Welsh Board for some strange reason... I've got an hour and a half to go, time for the good old last minute cramming routine
The weekend after it's all over is going to be insane. Campus is going to get torn apart. But hey, we're paying 'em 3.6 grand a year each, they can afford to fix it all
A-level Mankz? I thought you were at Uni? Wound on the failsauce - don't let it dishearten you. Particle Physics tomorrow... Woo!
Oh, that was HARD and everyone else at school agreed - I have much love for the UMS marking scheme now C2 and FP1 maths tomorrow I'm worried about FP1
FP1 was awesome, it was my favourite unit. I got a D in maths but a B in f. maths AS, the f. maths units own
Another thing to keep in mind is that once you are done - you aren't In the IT industry I've been to schools and classes for certifications many times. Companies like to have employees and even contractors knowledgeable about current industry needs. Java certification, Headend certification, Fiber network certifications, etc. Just think of all the beers you have to look forward too. john
Ah, I like the mechanics topics but I don't like FP1, not at all - it just doesn't seem to make any sense to me Alastor - can I ask how you find the civil engineering course, it's something I'm looking at doing for uni?
I got my professional accounting exams coming up. Financial reporting is ok, dont like audit so much. good luck to everyone tho!
FP1 is a good module. I remember it not being too difficult if you put some work in. Personally, I'm enjoying a year without exams. [/gloat]
I love it; if you have a decent grasp of maths (doing further maths at A-Level makes it a lot easier) and physics and have a reasonable interest in structures/geotechnics then it's just about perfect I think.
