    They do love thier military hardware. I wouldn't mind one of them myself, sure would make going to shops for milk much easier

    I've seen this before, there's a programme on one of the Discovery channels called Future Weapons and it featured this APC a while ago, its pretty impressive and just about to come into service. Its a great programme if a little gung ho, but I supose you'd expect that if the presenter was a former Navy SEAL sniper. Some of the kit they feature on there is simply amazing, especially the next generation of assault rifles, it makes you wish that the game developers watched the programme so that they would appear in the latest FPS's

    Oh and by the way, the PT-76 is a very old Soviet design, the NVA used them in the later stages of the Vietnam war and yes they are amphibious but they are slow and poorly armoured and they have their main fuel tanks integrated into their rear doors - more than just a little bit dangerous I would think. I seem to remember that they are generally thought to be very typical of early Soviet combat vehicles, poorly made, poor performance but produced in huge quantities so that no matter how easy they are to destroy some will always get through due to sheer weight of numbers.

    One could take a screenshot of that video and post it in Wikipedia on "Redneck". Made me laugh for the first 4 minutes of the video.

    Nice boat-vehicle-thingadilly though.

    Couldn't they just put tracks on a boat and add a gun, thinking about it, that's exactly what they've done. It seams to sit dangerously low in the water, assuming that footage didn't have a marine unit inside.

    Sticking the marine unit inside is only going to add what, 2 tons? The EFV already weighs 34 tons (wikipedia), so it's not going to get much lower.
