Has anyone else ever had any problem with them? I ordered way back in december and i still havent recieved anything from them. I know that there have been reasons like christmas meaning it wasnt posted until january, which is fair enough, but i have been emailing them since about the 16th asking about where it was. I also know about him being in hospital meaning i didnt get a reply to my emails straight away, but even after the notice on his site saying he was back, still no reply, still no reply to the emails i have been sending, day in day out either. I find this really annoying since i have paid my money and royal mail wont help me out at all since i was not the person who posted it.

Yeh, apparently, there was loads and loads of orders over christmas so its taking ages doing all the orders and he has also set a shop up in town so i'm not sure if he is taking care much of his online shop.

I also am waiting to recieve a prize from him but im not that much bothered about that anymore.

Otherwise from recently, its quite a good shop, decent prices, good delivery, that sorta thing.

I haven't dealt with Chill-Tek directly; however, a quick study of ResellerRatings.com shows that you're not alone with your problems:

    http://www.resellerratings.com/seller4560.html

I recommend to everyone that you (1) check out resellers you're considering doing business with through http://www.resellerratings.com and (2) providing feedback (good and bad) about reseller you use at the same site. It'll help us all protect each other!

"Recent negative changes to Chill-Tek service [10-2-2004]
In recent weeks, our customers have regrettably been "left in the dark" after placing their orders with us. In the second week of January, i became very ill which resulted in me having to attend a specialist but within just two days i was admitted to hospital. Fortunately i am now well enough to return Chill-Tek to the state which made 2003 a successful year for us. In the meantime i would like to offer my sincere apologies to all customers that have been affected by my absence from the company. Email and telephone enquiries have also returned to normal. Feel free to call us on 01738 567 000. Again, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Mark (MD Chill-Tek)"

I recommend you dispute the charges on your credit card and see if you can get your money back through the credit card company. True, it doesn't get you the stuff you ordered...but at least you'll have the cash to find another dealer to order from.

I have order loads from chill-tek and mark has always been great so don't worry it may take longer but he will sort it out. He has been ill and by the sounds of it very ill so it is just one of those things, I know you want your stuff or your money back but it will be sorted.

why hasn't anyone notified the police about this operation? or at the very least pay him a visit and give him some dental rework, fre of charge?
i'd be dropping my foot on his head.

wow your a big man Ron if you looked at their home page he has been ill I have dealt with him loads and he has never let me down. He has a small team pretty much just him so give him a brake and don't throw around stupid threats like that :thumb: . I do know how all the people who are missing money or orders feel I went through a similar thing with another pc company but it all was sorted in the end
