Electronics Extending Front Panel Connectors

    The front panel audio and Firewire connectors will not reach from the mainboard's upper right corner to the front when using the Lian-Li PC V1000 and a MSI K8N2 Neo Platinum.

    How do I extend them or where in the US would I buy them?

    if you're any good with a soldering iron .. just cut them up somewhere in the middle .. (one by one is easiest i think ..) so u wont have to mess with connectors ... solder a piece of electirc wire inbetween, and put some heatshrink around the soldered contacts ...

    should work perfectly ;)

    yea you could solder on extentions (solder + heatshrink or electrical tape)

    ive realy never seen specific extention cords

    i would reccomend cat5, it has 8 pairs

    Um you mean 8 Strands right? Cause cat 5 has 4 pair.
