Networks Extension Cord

    i cut about 6 meters off of my telephone extension cord and now i connect at no lower than 40kbps :)

    befor i used to go down to 26 :eeek:

    i was able to move my pc which allowed me to do this :)

    That just creates so many intersting images in my mind.:D

    The speed thing has got to be a coincidence...unless that was one hell of a long cord before?

    maybe there was a damaged section in the 6metres that he removed :)

    Nice to see 40k Lazy, but its still not broadband :(

    i would have bb if i could but dam bt!!!!

    the cord is still quite a few meters long but i am seeing massive improvements :)

    i get a full 49kbps on my modem even tho the cable is wrapped around a power cable & has my speaker cable near it as well, this is on ntl, i think my line must have a really high gain compaired to BT lines
