I'm in need of a storage device, and since everything I've seen so far is either way too expensive or doesn't offer everything I want, I'm aiming to build one. I do however have no idea what parts I will be needing and how to set it up. So I come here for advice. Basically I want to be able to have around 8-12 Sata2 hdds in the device and then connect the device via USB. I also want to be able to turn each hdd on/off with a toggle switch. Seeing as I will only be using it as storage transfer speed is not too important, also trying to keep cost as low as possible. Anyways, if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
