as my first question in the watercooling forum was not answered (we got some other nice stories, though... ) I ask the tech guys here for advice: Do you know of any external (not on mobo or anything like that) temperature probe to monitor my core temp. And, would it be possible to somehow hook that up to the system so temps could be monitored via MBM5? CHeers...
What's the probe size on the £11.78 Senfu? Hard to see on the photo. Maplin do a similar module (YU07H @£10) but the probe is too bulky to touch the core.
We did a lower price over the Xmas / New Year Break. Its back up by 70p now though. They are pretty cool for modding into blanking plates. You can use the bracket/stand that comes with it to mark them out. You can fit 2 side by side in a 5.25" panel.
Also, The Senfu temperature monitor uses the flat probe type, but there is a point on it where pressure must not be applied.
yea it works great paul well worth the cash - shows up my asus onboard probe to be really naff (some 6ºC diff)
