F.E.A.R Directors cut is only available in North America. I live in the UK. If I was to buy this product from a US retailer could I use it on my machine or would there be some sort of restriction preventing me?

Also, my system specs. ase below - how would FEAR play with them?

No probs running the game, I have a few US games lying around from eBay.
As per system specs, it will run it, just not at uber detail.

The main differance is that you get more bonus material like the "P.A.N.I.C.S" vidoes ;)

Those were given away on a PC Gamer (UK) Coverdisc I believe, probably because you couldn't buy them here ? Funny stuff :)

Meh it's ok. The scaryness bit is so much better than Doom 3's (I thought that was pretty scary untill the zombie closets became more of an annoyance). Graphics on full are excellent, on my old PC on low they were absolutely awful.

Major drawback for me is the actual combat, the guns just don't feel like they fire, I HAVE to fire at least 3 shots from each gun, no 1 shot ability. Add to that, the damage system is awful, so long as a soldier doesn't know you're there, 1 shot to the head kills, when he is aware of you, you need to unload an entire clip into his face.

Pretty good, but I much prefer CoD2 ATM.
