No, nothing like that. I believe my machine has restarted itself a couple of times while I've been away, but I've put that down to Windows updates.
Windows hates folding. That's why it restarts at will because it knows that you will be doing something useful so it thinks " I know I will screw up my owners day" Do I sound bitter?
Just turn off Auto updates. Set it to let you know when there are updates but do not download. I have a windows 7 machine that runs 24/7 for my media server and folding and have no problems with it shutting down without my consent.
