I've tested it numerous times and with the drive in place, it kinds holds the cd like a track when u try sliding it in. It never touches the edge of the aluminum unless you try to bend the cd or something

    Time for another update...

I failed to show this before I polished the front, but it was important to get everything fitted. As you know, i'm using the thermaltake pump, which fits almost perfectly in the 3 1/2 drive bay. The only problem is that there are aluminum pieces sticking out so i had to get rid of it :)

I had to cut out that little section...

Then filed it a little bit to make it kinda straight again..

Test fitting the pump. Fits perfectly! I also have a multipower port plus, makes things a lot easier :)

Gave the interior a light spray of red paint.

Sprayed the little drive cage also..

Didn't really spray all that much on the bottom since the motherboard is going to be covering it anyways..

Painted the back. Here you can see the back is cut out originally to fit the thermaltake radiator. I ended up not using it and I plan to put an 80 mm exhaust fan back there so i'll have to remake those corners so i can screw on the fan again..

How it kinda looks with some of the parts installed..

    Including the pump..

    Another pic..

Here you can see how the pump barely clears the height. It's really a perfect fit...

Another angle.. with the parts installed..

And with the cdrom in place to see how it goes. THe drive will be painted black even though it won't be seen

Love the new shiny front fascia, much better than before.

The only parts used from the thermaltake kit is the pump. The block is going to be upgraded..

I was actually going to wait until the next update to show you guys but basically it's going to be attached right under the cage that's holding the pump and all. There's plenty of space from the bottom of the cage to the motherboard.. almost a perfect fit :) You'll see later in the pics..

Glad to see another Watercooled Shuttle.

I see you managed to get one of the Xice Blocks too, can't believe there are so little blocks on the market that will fit and clear the side of the case!

I thought about putting the pump in the bays but was too lazy, it fits quite nicely in the space between the end of the gfx card and the case front.

Can't see why people diss the TT kit, its fine for most shuttles as they arent big on OCing so dont need uber cooling. In a fullsize case tho :hehe:
