For me it was Hungary last year, he was miles in the lead, pulling away but gave it up because the bosses asked him to. He lost 7 points to Verstappen for no gains to the team beyond that Zack had apparently promised Oscar he could win. Can you imagine Verstappen, Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel, Button or any champion from the last 40years doing that? In other situations perhaps, but what driver who's 2nd in the championship gives up 10% of the points gaps for the driver who was (then) in 5th? It's either a lack of desire or a lack of will.
I reckon Yuki has already been on the phone to Cadillac for a seat in future seasons to avoid the curse of the 2nd Red Bull seat.
Helmut the helmet really does need to just shut up ad go away... ideally forever... Or is hoping to Honda is way into an Aston seat when Alonso retires or Papa Stroll finally turfs his failson off into WEC or something...
Lando looked good, sounded composed, thrilled for him, but time will tell. Tis a long season. Former F1 boss and TV pundit Jordan dies aged 76 - https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/articles/cq8y1335qlwo Sad times. Absolute legend
*dons flak jacket* Maybe now he'll STFU. Poison Dwarf next? Please universe. Though Ecclestone is so malign cancer probably gets him rather than the other way round.
RIP Eddie, what a life to have lived. He gave so much to F1, straight talking and shot from the hip, sadly not many more like him on the grid these days.I hope we can give him the send off he deserves.
Get up early to watch the race, take a nap after the race, wake up and find out 3 drivers have been disqualified after the chequered flag....
So - Lawson replaced by Tsunoda Lawson replaced by Hadjar [bc Helmet hates yuki] For the turbomegalols Lawson replaced by Doohan or Colapinto. Lawson getting the boot seems a bolted on certainty at this point now.
Welcome to the sBinalla Sir Lewis... I'd like to hope these are just teething troubles, but it's Ferrari and we all know better.
This one, because I think Honda don't want Yuki in the 'other' RB and have designs on his replacing Nando at Aston Martin. Yuki is the grand old age of 24, it's better for him and for Honda if he over performs at Toro Rosso (who also seem to really like him), than gets his confidence and reputation destroyed at Red Bull (who clearly DGAF about anything not named Verstappen).
Swapping Lawson and Hadjar would probably be the best option for Lawson and VCarb, but for Red Bull and Hadjar it would likely be a disaster.
