While I am all for everyone believing what they like etc, why do people who are religious feel the need to share all their religious drivel thoughts as their status? I mean do I REALLY have to remove you from my updates because you're constantly spouting all this 'his this and his that' stuff? Where's the 'unlike' button when you need it.
Sadly I deleted the people that post about their religion, kinda wish that I had kept them for a good laugh
Just wait until you get to the stage where your friends are having kids. Brace yourselves, baby pictures are coming...
I can vouch for the baby pics thing... I was the one posting them. As for the "religious drivel" status updates that you don't like, just unsubscribe if you don't want to make a big deal out of it. Alternatively you could try Krikkit's suggestion and post a comment underneath; I think unfriending might be a bit extreme, unless the person is a "facebook friend" in the truest sense.
So it was you! The proud parents on my feed have been unsubscribed, but you can still see their profile pictures - apparently, I'm friends with 4 babies.
Yeah, gots to ignore the baby picture people, you know once you see the first few pictures that they're never going to produce anything ever again which isn't related in some way to their kids. Might as well just set them to never show up at that point. As for the religious, come on, give 'em a break, I mean, they believe in invisible people in the sky, and in this day and age too, when they have so few others who take that stuff seriously.
Yep worse for me, being as they are family. Also avatars - I'm friends with two dogs, that's right women that think their best representation is a picture of their dog!
1) religious or just otherwise stuff that you don't care about, what's the big deal? 2) what's so significant about un-subscribing/un-friending someone on FB? Just do it. Proper first world problems...
Oh look, another "let's laugh at religion and people who believe in stuff" thread. Seriously guys, Jipa hit the nail on the head. I wish I had your problems. Yes, most of what other people put on Facebook is drivel about themselves - welcome to Facebook. Ignore it and get on with your life. I have a couple of friends on FB who post the most boring, unwanted crap you could ever imagine. They're no longer in my feed because as much as I like F1, I don't want to read 10 bitchy, dyslexic comments per day from some McLaren fanboy who would jump in bed with Lewis Hamilton if he was given the chance... And I have less than no interest in seeing pictures of one of my mates exes (who I'm still sorta friendly with even though they broke up a while ago) kissing her new boyfriend, which she posts every day. Without fail.
Does'nt bother me a great deal i get it occasionally from one friend who is a raging bible basher but each to there own i don't get rid of her. People that post there kids is fine but posting the same picture EVERYDAY and saying "IM SUCH A PROUD MUMMY!" gets a little repetitive so i tend to unsubscribe to see them on the news feed. People i hate the most are the ones who post the dramatic "FML! I HATE THIS TOWN BLAH BLAH BLAH" to which people reply "Whats up BABE?!!" to which they ALWAYS SAY "Nothing howz u!?"
