I hate racism. So much. PLEASE TELL ME what i have actually done to encounter such vile comments and dirty looks on this day every year. Because i'm pretty sure i'll never go and commit mass murder. The above is probably the only religious post I've seen on facebook and definitely among the few interesting ones.

Yes, even if I don't have a Facebook account.

 

Yeah, some of them the most vain, horrible, posed pictures you've ever come across in your life. I have no problem with Facebook in general - when it's used to keep in touch with friends and relatives and share genuinely interesting stuff it's a really good form of communication and networking, but I'd give almost anything for 5 minutes in a windowless room with some of the people who post some of the most irrational, vain, ludicrous and downright boring **** on their walls. And then there's the complete disregard for the English language, which seems to be almost obligatory on social networking sites these days.

I genuinely lose a little faith in humanity on most of the occasions that I visit Facebook.

"Lewis Hamilton is thinking about leaving McLaren?! OMG this is the end for me, I don't think I'll be a McLaren fan next season".

Seriously, why are people so attached to this site, it is incredibly invasive and so full of mindless nonsense.

 

There's no point moaning about it.

As others have said, it can be great, I personally find it best for arranging group events etc, and keeping in contact with various people I wouldn't otherwise.

However if it's annoying you that much, just get rid of it, not a big deal.

 

Everybody else expresses their thoughts, why shouldnt they?

If you dont like it, hide their status updates.

 

I personally am not at all attached to it. I was merely commenting on how bible bashers feel the need to spam everyone with their mindless drivvel.

 

And sometimes, Christians don't like being called names and having their faith referred to as "mindless drivel". Don't get me wrong, I know where you're coming from about it being plastered all over Facebook and at times, shoved down people's throats... but just because you don't believe in something doesn't mean you have to hate it. I don't believe in Buddah, Allah or Muhammad, but I have every bit of respect for the religions that those deities are attached to and the people who believe in them as I have for my own faith and the people who believe in it.

 

First it was "religious people" and now it's "bible bashers"... I get the picture now LOL. Regardless of what some Christians do on facebook, be it spamming or not, they are free to do it and you are under no obligation to read it or subscribe to it.
