Did anyone here play the beta? I applied but didnt get in. It looks like the sort of game i could get into, Sort of fallout 3 onlineish, the crafting system sounds interesting and the main thing that drew my attention. So.... Is it any good? It goes fully live in a day or so, so i might give it a try. Opinions
I'm tempted by this too, but I can't find anyone who has played it or is playing. Shame because it looks interesting.
I actually bit the bullet, and got a copy i havent played it that much, maybe 5 hours tops. First impressions are good, the tutorial is great for what it is and gets you familiar with the controls and menus. I like the scavenging thats pretty much all ive done so far, roam about finding things to harvest, I like that after you've looted a kill you can still scavenge skins and things. Downside is the quests ive done have all been 'take this here' and 'bring me x amount of x' it gets freer though once your out of newbie camp.
I have to say, i was also intruiged by the look of the game and would buy it, but money is tight right now and i really can't afford a monthly subscription (thankfully a combo of AO and DDO keeps me going). Shame there isn't a whole lot of information around about it
