Here's an idea I have but will probably never get around to making, so I thought I'd share it with you guys in hope that it inspires someone... The original Nintendo - the legendary Famicom (family computer) has become something of an enigma to lowly collectors such as myself, but I recently saw a faulty one on th'bay and it made me think: FAMICOM PC! It measures around 212mm x 149mm x 45mm so could house a nice Pico-ITX mobo and would generally follow the same lines as the typical NES PC. You could have the controller as either an actual game controller, or perhaps mod one into a mouse. You can also get this which is pretty funky: And a disk system as well: Where you could keep additional storage and DVD drives... I also had the idea of running it off CF Cards, and housing these in game-carts, so you could have one with a particular operating system on, or one for storage... or something like that... Right. Now I think I'll have a nap.
